The Daily Star

The Daily Star was a reputable English-language newspaper based in Beirut, Lebanon (TDS stopped publication in 2021). It was one of the most prominent newspapers in the country and was well-regarded for its coverage of local, regional, and international news. Given Lebanon's complex political landscape and history, The Daily Star played a critical role in facilitating discussions and informing readers about the latest developments, both within Lebanon and in the wider Middle East.

I was lucky enough to write for the Daily Star Arts & Culture section, covering gallery openings, musical performances, and everything in between. It was a formative time in my life - and gave me the love for documenting the world around me, especially my beloved Lebanon.
